How To Guide
Here's all you need to know for your best DIY lash experience!
Step-By-Step
A complete guide from prep, to application and removal.

Prep
Start with a clean, dry base
Clean your eyelids and lashes so that they are completely free from any oils and dirt before application.
This is to ensure that the glue adhesive will stick well to your lashes!
(Optional) Curl your natural lashes
If you want extra lift and a seamless blend, consider curling your natural lashes with an eyelash curler.
Gently squeeze the curler for a few seconds at the base and mid-way point of your lashes.

Application
Plan out your lash map
Our In-A-Wink lashes come in 3 lengths (10,12,14mm) so you can customise the perfect lash look to your desired style and preference!
Depending on your eye length and shape, decide on the -
- Number of clusters
- lash placements
- cluster lengths
you will be using.
Applying the lashes
Watch our video tutorial above!
STEP 1:
Pick up the lash cluster from the tray with tweezers. *Avoid touching the glue strip!
STEP 2:
Place the lash cluster under your natural lashes, ensuring the glue along the lash line makes contact. Angle the lash cluster so it aligns with your natural lashes, then gently press upwards to secure. **Do not apply on your waterline as it will feel uncomfortable.
STEP 3:
Pinch the base of the lash clusters and natural lashes together with tweezers.
Checking the placement
Here's how you can check your angle and placement:
Grab a small mirror and hold it below your eye. This will allow you to see the lash glue band and how it sits on your natural lashes.
Look for any gaps between the lash band and your lash line. These gaps can indicate the lash isn't placed close enough and could be a source of stickiness.
Check the angle of the lashes. They should follow the natural angle of your lashes, angled slightly upwards and blending seamlessly together with your own lashes.

Why underlash clusters?
♡ SEAMLESS NATURAL LOOK! Underlash clusters blend more seamlessly with your natural lashes. No more visible lash bands!
♡ PERFECT FOR BEGINNERS! Lash clusters are hidden under natural lashes so less precision is required in your application!
♡ FITS ALL EYES! Full customisation with cluster lashes to get the perfect fit on all eye lengths, shapes and sizes!
Customisation guide
- Volume effect: 4-5 clusters per eye
- Subtle effect: 2-3 clusters per eye
- Cat eye: inner to outer, short to long (e.g. 10,10,12,14 mm)
- Open eye: longer in the middle, shorter at the corners (e.g. 10,12,14,12 mm)
Removal
Gentle removal with oil based removers
Watch our video tutorial above!
STEP 1:
Soak a cotton pad with oil-based make up remover and place over lashes for 20 seconds.
STEP 2:
Gently peel the lash cluster away from natural lashes from the base. The lashes and glue should slide off easily.
Reminder - Yes, our lashes are easy to remove, but do be gentle with your natural lashes and remove carefully to avoid pulling out your lash hairs in the process!
Double cleanse!
Clean your lashes again with make up remover to ensure there is no residue.
You're all ready for a new set!
Care Tips
Minimise contact with water
Avoid direct contact with hot water or steam during showers, as this can loosen the adhesive bond. Opt for lukewarm water and gentle cleansing.
Pro tip! Wash your face normally, avoiding the eye area, then use a micellar water soaked cotton pad to clean your eyelids separately.
Avoid oil & creams
Our lashes are water and sweat proof! But avoid contact with oil and cream based products around the glue strip area as they can break down the adhesive.
Sensitive skin? Do a patch test!
Our lash adhesive is formulated with gentle, hypoallergenic ingredients! However, if you have sensitive skin, we recommend a simple patch test to ensure safety and comfort.
Be gentle with your lashes
Avoid touching or rubbing your eyes excessively, as this can loosen the lashes.
Try to sleep on your back to prevent your lashes from rubbing against your pillowcase.
When to replace your set
Our lashes are meant to be worn for consecutive days - 3 to 7 days, or longer! (Wear time varies for individuals)
After the stickiness wears off, you can choose to throw them away or clean the lashes and reuse them like regular falsies with your own lash glue.
We highly recommend replacing your lashes after 7 days of wear to ensure optimal hygiene and prevent potential irritation or discomfort to your eyes.
